To create specification sheet(s), you will first need to build a Specification Template. Once you have created a specification template with an internal flow, you can start building your specification sheet(s).
To get started:
1. Click on Specifications within the left-hand navigation menu. Click Add Specification and give a unique name to your specification sheet and select a template for this specification sheet
2. Complete the specification sheet as needed. The sheet can be saved and continue to be edited later.
3. User roles with editing permissions to “Master Specification” can collaborate on the specification sheet. For more information about creating user roles, visit Creating Custom User Roles
4. Some attributes in the Ingredients & Nutrients Powered by Genesis Foods are automatically integrated with Genesis Foods. See Ingredients & Nutrients Powered by Genesis Foods to learn more about this integration.
Internal Flows:
To transition a specification through its internal flow, click the “Actions” button and select the next desired step from the Internal Flow list.
NOTE: Depending on how the internal flow was configured, there may be more than one transition button available for that step.
Once selected, the specification internal flow will transition to the next step and notify the necessary role(s) that the specification may need their review.
