As a Community Owner, you may utilize the same audit template for many facilities or suppliers but realize that certain questions may not be applicable or pertain to them and you don’t want the overall score to penalize them. As an author of an audit or assessment template that utilizes scoring, you have the ability to provide a response option that does not penalize the scoring of the assessment.
For example: Does this facility in-house laundry service have a sanitizing step identified and documented as part of the cleaning process?
- Yes (10 points)
- No (0 points)
- Does not have in-house laundry or laundry service. (answer does not affect scoring)
Steps to creating responses that do not impact the score
- Go to the Admin page by clicking the cogwheel icon and navigate to the Business > Audits and Assessments > Templates.
- Here you will see a list view of all your assessment and the ability to add a new assessment type.
- Upon selection, you will see the detailed configuration for the audit or assessment.
Please note: In order to select a response that does not impact the overall score, you will need edit access on assessment templates.
- Within the Audits and Assessment Options on the top left side of the view, you can enable scoring. As your internal users or supplier users are completing the assessment questions, they will be awarded points based on what you've configured within the template. This is an optional feature. Select "Yes" to enable.
- In order to select a response that does not impact the overall score, the assessment author will only be able to select from ‘Single Select’ question types.
Once you have selected a single question type, you will see a dropdown option to choose points awarded. Here you can select points awarded for this question response or select “Answer does not affect scoring”.
- Selecting this “Answer does not affect the scoring” will not penalize the overall scoring of the audit or assessment.
For example: Does this facility in-house laundry service have a sanitizing step identified and documented as part of the cleaning process?
- Yes (10 points)
- No (0 points)
- Not Provided (answer does not affect scoring)
If the user selects ‘Yes; then the score for this question should be calculated as 10/10
If the user selects ‘No’, then the score for this question should be calculated as 0/10
If the user selects ‘Not Provided’, then the score for this question should be calculated as 0/0
Please note: Scores are not visible to the user when completing the audit or assessment. Community Owner will see the score once the audit or assessment has been submitted.
- If the supplier submitted the audit or assessment until after it is Approved or Rejected the supplier will see their score.
- If the Community Owner submitted the audit or assessment the supplier will not see the score, until after it is Approved or Rejected, and you decide to make it visible to your supplier.
