Completing To-Dos on Behalf of a Supplier

Community Owners can view a supplier's outstanding requirements and, when permitted, complete certain To-Dos on the supplier's behalf. This helps Community Owners monitor supplier progress and assist suppliers with document-related requirements when needed.

View a Supplier's To-Do List

  1. From the left navigation menu, select Suppliers.
  2. Locate and select the supplier you want to review.
  3. Open the Summary tab.
  4. In the Supplier To-Do List section, review the supplier's outstanding requirements.

Understanding the To-Do Count

The To-Do count includes outstanding:

  • Document requirements
  • Product requirements
  • Location requirements
  • Assessment requirements

You can also use the To-Do filter to reorganize or narrow the list of displayed requirements.

Note

The To-Do count is displayed in the supplier list view, but is not included in supplier list exports.

Complete a Document To-Do

If you have the appropriate permissions, you can satisfy a document requirement on behalf of a supplier.

  1. Locate the document-related To-Do.
  2. Select Attach Document.
  3. Choose one of the following options:
    • Create New Document to upload a new document.
    • Recommended Documents to select a document the supplier has previously shared that matches the requirement.
  4. Complete the document upload or selection process.
  5. Once the requirement is satisfied, the To-Do is removed from the supplier's To-Do list.

Note

When completing a document requirement, use the Attach Document action from the supplier's To-Do List. Uploading a document from the general Documents page creates a new document record and may not satisfy the intended requirement.

Permission Requirements

To complete document-related To-Dos, users must have:

  • Supplier Information > Documents = View + Edit
  • Products = View + Edit (when applicable)
  • Locations = View + Edit (when applicable)

If you do not have the required permissions, the Attach Document button will be unavailable.

Assessment Requirements

  • Community Owners can view assessment-related To-Dos but cannot complete assessments on behalf of suppliers.
  • Assessment To-Dos will display as unavailable and cannot be selected.

Clear Optional To-Dos

Community Owner administrators can clear optional To-Dos without attaching a document or completing an assessment. The To-Do will be removed from the supplier's list.

  1. Locate the optional To-Do.
  2. Select Clear To-Do.
  3. Confirm the action.
