FoodLogiQ utilizes GS1 Standards in many of our solutions, including the use of GTINs for product identification and GLNs for location identification. The first step in creating these numbers is to obtain a GS1 Company Prefix. This is a unique number that GS1 issues to your company. It’s the foundation used to uniquely build identifiers for your products and locations.
Your company should register with the GS1 Member Organization where your company's headquarters are located. For companies in the United States, register with GS1 US on their website at www.gs1us.org. For all other countries, please use the GS1 Global website for your country's information.
