Setting Up Mobile Apps to Automatically Update

Apple iPhones and iPads

iOS version 10 or greater 

1. Launch the Settings app on your iOS device
2. Scroll down and tap on iTunes & App Store
3. Scroll all the way down to the bottom until you see Automatic Downloads
4. To turn on automatic app updates, toggle Updates to the On position 

iOS versions 8 & 9

1. Launch the Settings app on your iOS device
2. Scroll down and tap on App and iTunes Stores
3. Toggle Updates to the On position 

Android Phones and Tablets

Android versions 6 or greater 

1. Open the Google Play Store app
2. Tap Menu Settings
3. Tap Auto-Update apps
4. Select an option:

• Auto-update apps at any time. Data charges may apply
• Auto-Update apps over Wi-Fi only
