When building your scorecard templates, you will find several rules that can be added to each section. But what does each rule mean? Here is a breakdown of each rule, its description, and an example of how to use it.

There are 4 different types of rules: Count,Time, Score, and Value. Each type indicates what datapoint will be referenced in order to score this rule.
- Count rules answer the question, How many? A Count rule for assessments, for example, refers to how many assessments with the given criteria the supplier has. The number of assessments is what will be scored.
- Time rules answer the question, How many days? For example, How many days expired is a certain document? The number of days is what will be scored.
- Score rules answer the question, What is the score of? For example, What is the score of a certain supplier's assessment? The numerical value is what will be scored.
- Value rules answer the question, What is the value of? For example, What is the value on a numerical field of a document? This numerical value is what will be scored.
Audits & Assessment Rules

Count: Assessments overdue for [# of Days] days or more.
- Description: This is a count of all the assessments the supplier has which have been overdue for set number of days or more. The example shows there are 10 assessments (of any type) that have been overdue for 150 days or more.
- Example: Assessments overdue for 150 days or more: 10

Time: Highest number of days a [Assessment Template] is overdue.

Description: This rule is specific to an Assessment Template and the Highest number of days an assessment from said template has been overdue. The example shows the specific Assessment: Second Party Supplier Audit has been overdue for 150 days. There may be other assessments from other templates that have been overdue longer or same template but with less days.

Count: Assessments with a score [less / greater] than or equal to [Score] within the last [# of Days] days.
- Description: The example shows there are 5 assessments with a score greater than 85% within the past 365 days.
- Example: Assessments with a score greater than 85% within the past 365 days: 5

Score: Most recent [Assessment Template].
- Description: The example shows a score of 99% for the most recent assessment of a certain assessment type (Desk Audit).
- Example: Most recent Desk Audit: 99%
Incident Rules

Count: [Incident Type] where [Attribute] is one of [Values] within the last [# of Days] days.
- Description: Count of all incidents of a specific type with a specific attribute and one of a few values in the last number of days. The example shows that within the last 30 days, have been a total of 4 Product Quality Incidents where the issue type is one mold or foreign object.
- Example: Product Quality Incident where Issue type is one of mold, foreign object within the last 30 days: 4

Count: [Incident Type] that are currently overdue on a supplier step.
- Description: The example shows that 2 Product Out of Spec Incidents that are currently overdue on a supplier step.
- Example: Product out of Spec that are currently overdue on a supplier step: 2
Document Rules

Count: [Document Type] that are overdue.
- Description: The example shows that are 2 HACCP Plan documents that are overdue for the supplier.
- Example: HACCP Plan documents that are overdue: 2

Count: [Document Type] that are expired for [# of Days] day
- Description: The example shows that there is 1 GFSI Audit Certificate that has been expired for at least 60 days.
- Example: GFSI Audit Certificate that are expired for 60 days: 1

Value: Most recent [Document Type] [Numerical Attribute] value.
- Description: This rule considers that you can add attributes to a document type to collect additional information regarding the document. The attribute can only be one of a numerical value. The example shows that the score of the most recent SQF Certificate is 80.

Time: Highest number of days a [Document Type] is expired.
- Description: The example shows that the highest number of days a Certificate of Analysis has been expired is 60 days.
- Example: Highest number of days a Certificate of Analysis is expired: 60 days
Product & Location Missing Attribute Rules

Count: Products with missing required attributes for [# of Days] days or greater.
- Description: A supplier meeting your expectations can also mean how quickly do they complete all required attributes on a product in FoodLogiQ. Use this rule to count how many products have missing required attributes for a specific number of days or more.
- Example: Products with missing required attributes for greater than 30 days: 15

Count: Locations with missing required attributes for [# of Days] days or greater.
- Description: A supplier meeting your expectations can also mean how quickly do they complete all required attributes on a location shared with you in FoodLogiQ. Use this rule to count how many locations have missing required attributes for a specific number of days or more.
- Example: Locations with missing required attributes for greater than 30 days: 20
Custom Rule

Custom: Question and Answer

Description: The custom rule allows you to enter text that will appear as a question on the supplier's scorecard, which you can score in the moment. Custom rules can be leveraged to capture qualitative data that might not be represented by the automatic rules. This allows you to build in more context for the supplier's score.
