Create an Ingredient in Genesis Foods from a Product

Community Owners that manage their Ingredients in Genesis Food can now create an Ingredient from a FoodLogiQ product if the product has at least one of the following Genesis Foods attributes: 

• Allergen Statement - Statement specifying potential food allergens in a product
• Diet Type - The code indicating the diet the product is suitable for
• Nutrient Value Table - Genesis Foods' Nutrient Value Table listing the nutritional content of an ingredient or recipe

While the Ingredient remains in a draft version 1 state in Genesis Foods, the systems will sync any changes made in Genesis Foods every 10 minutes. Once the Ingredient is approved in Genesis Foods and moved into an approved Version 1, the Ingredient will no longer sync with FoodLogiQ. Note: Once the ingredient is sent to Genesis Foods, it's Genesis Foods Attributes above are no longer editable in FoodLogiQ. 

To create an Ingredient in Genesis Foods from a Product: 

1. Open the product.
2. Click on the Action menu in the top right-hand corner.  
   
3. Choose Create Ingredient in Genesis Foods.  
4. Click on Create Ingredient 
   
5. Use link to access new Ingredient in Genesis Foods.
