Workflows help Community Owners collect information, documents, assessments, and other requirements from suppliers through a structured process.
You may receive workflows for a variety of reasons, including:
- Joining a new Community Owner's community
- Sharing a new product
- Sharing a new location
- Sharing a document
- Completing compliance or onboarding requirements
- Responding to a special request from a Community Owner
Each workflow contains one or more steps that must be completed before the workflow can be finalized.
Access a Workflow
You can access workflows from:
- Your FoodLogiQ Dashboard To-Do List
- Workflow email notifications
- The Workflows area within FoodLogiQ
Select a workflow to review its details, progress, and outstanding requirements.
Review Workflow Information
Within a workflow, you may see:
- Workflow instructions
- Due dates
- Assigned steps
- Workflow progress
- Comments from the Community Owner
Review all instructions before beginning work on the workflow.
Complete Workflow Steps
Each workflow contains one or more steps that require action.
To complete a workflow step:
- Open the workflow.
- Select the step you want to complete.
- Review any instructions provided.
- Complete the requested task.
- Save or submit your work.
- Mark the step as complete, if applicable.
Workflow steps may require you to:
- Upload documents
- Complete assessments
- Provide business information
- Provide product information
- Provide location information
- Review and acknowledge requirements
Assign Workflow Steps
Depending on your organization's configuration, workflow steps may be assigned to specific users within your business.
If step assignment is available, select the appropriate user responsible for completing the task.
Submit Steps for Review
Some workflow steps require review by the Community Owner before they can be completed.
When a review is required:
- Complete the requested information.
- Submit the step.
- Wait for the Community Owner to review the submission.
The step status updates while it is under review.
Returned Workflow Steps
If the Community Owner requires additional information or corrections, a workflow step may be returned.
When this occurs:
- Open the workflow.
- Review any comments provided.
- Update the requested information.
- Resubmit the step for review.
Workflow Completion
A workflow is complete when all required steps have been completed and any required reviews have been approved.
Once complete:
- The workflow status updates to indicate completion.
- The workflow is removed from your active to-do items.
- No additional action is required unless a new workflow is assigned.
