Complete an Assessment

Community Owners may assign assessments to collect information about your organization, products, locations, food safety programs, or compliance activities.

When an assessment is assigned, it appears in your To-Do List and may also be available within the Audits & Assessments area of FoodLogiQ.

Note

Assessments can be assigned as one-time requests or as part of a recurring schedule.

Access an Assessment

You can access an assessment from:

  • Your dashboard To-Do List
  • An email notification
  • The Audits & Assessments area

Select the assessment to review its requirements and begin entering responses.

Review Assessment Instructions

Before answering questions, review any instructions provided by the Community Owner.

Instructions may include:

  • Assessment objectives
  • Required supporting documentation
  • Submission deadlines
  • Additional completion requirements

Complete Assessment Questions

Assessments may contain different question types, including:

  • Yes/No questions
  • Single-select questions
  • Multi-select questions
  • Free-text responses
  • Matrix questions

Answer each question according to the requirements provided.

Add Supporting Documentation

Some assessments may require supporting evidence.

Depending on the assessment configuration, you may be able to:

  • Upload files
  • Attach supporting documents
  • Add comments or explanations

Supporting documentation helps Community Owners review and validate responses.

Save Your Progress

If you are unable to complete the assessment in a single session, save your work and return later.

Any completed responses remain available when you reopen the assessment.

Submit the Assessment

After completing all required questions:

  1. Review your responses.
  2. Confirm any required attachments have been added.
  3. Complete any required electronic signatures.
  4. Select Submit.

Once submitted, the assessment is sent to the Community Owner for review.

Assessment Review Process

After submission, the Community Owner reviews the assessment responses.

The Community Owner may:

  • Approve the assessment
  • Return the assessment for updates
  • Reject the assessment

If additional information is required, you will receive a notification and the assessment will be returned with comments.

Copy Previous Responses

For recurring assessments, the Community Owner may enable the ability to copy responses from a previous assessment.

When available, this feature can help reduce data entry and speed up completion.

Review all copied responses carefully before submitting the assessment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can't I submit the assessment?

One or more required questions may be incomplete, or required attachments may be missing.

Can I edit an assessment after submission?

Once submitted, the assessment is typically locked until it is returned by the Community Owner for updates.

Why was my assessment returned?

The Community Owner may request clarification, additional documentation, or corrections before approving the assessment.
