Finalize and Preview Playbooks

After completing the Interview Wizard, finalize your document to assemble it, review the completed output, export it, and manage its version history.

Finalize a Document

On the final step of the Interview Wizard, review your answers and any linked documents.

Select Finalize to assemble all sections into a completed document.

Finalizing a document:

  • Creates a version snapshot.
  • Calculates an assembly quality score.
  • Marks the draft as completed.

If enabled, workspace memories may be automatically extracted from finalized documents.

Completed documents open in Preview mode. To make changes, select Continue Editing to return to the Interview Wizard.

Preview and Export

Open a completed document from Documents or immediately after finalizing to view the assembled document.

From Preview, you can:

  • Export the document as a PDF.
  • Download the document as Markdown or HTML.
  • Print the document using a browser-friendly layout with a Trustwell Playbook footer.
  • Switch between the full document and individual section views.
  • Generate on-demand translations by selecting a language.
  • Leave threaded comments for collaborators.
  • Edit finalized document content inline without rerunning the Interview Wizard.

Assembly Quality Score

After finalization, Playbook evaluates the assembled document for completeness and support. We blend three signals. Coverage is the share of required documents you have started. Completeness rewards required questions answered with enough detail, drafted sections, and finalized status. Freshness fades as documents age past the window above.

Quality information includes:

  • A compact quality indicator on the Documents list and Dashboard.
  • A detailed quality ring in Preview with a label, score, and specific reasons.

You can also rate the AI-generated assembly using the thumbs up or thumbs down controls in Preview.

Replacing assumption markers and completing missing information can improve your quality score the next time the document is assembled.

Refresh a Document

Use Refresh to confirm that a finalized document is still current.

Open Refresh from the Documents list or from the document status badge in Preview.

Select a reason for refreshing, such as:

  • No changes
  • Content updated
  • Reviewed

You can review and edit the document before confirming. Even if no edits are made, refreshing updates the document timestamp so it counts as current in your Audit Readiness score.

Version History

Each time a document is finalized, Playbook creates a version snapshot.

Open Version History from the Documents list or Preview to:

  • View previous document snapshots.
  • Compare versions side by side.
  • Track document changes over time for audit purposes.
