In each Risk Template, users can determine risk scoring, risk matrices definitions, and rating assessment templates that align with their internal safety standards for chosen products.
To configure your Risk Matrix and Template:
- Access the Risk Management templates by clicking on the sprocket next to Risk Management and choosing the appropriate template or click on Add Risk Analysis Template to create a new one.
- Edit the pre-populated labels as needed.
- Click Add Level to expand the matrix. Note: Users can have as few as three levels (by removing levels with the trash can icon) or as many as five levels.
- Toggle to the Scale section. Adjust the scale by dragging and dropping the color sections to determine the range of scores for each level of risk. This scale is part of the prompt sent to the AI Agent to determine where the risk falls.
Above is the scale before adjustment – evenly defaulted between the four levels.
After adjustment, the scale below focuses more on those risks in the Level 4 category, which has been expanded.
- Toggle from the Matrix tab to the Settings & Notifications tab. The user can adjust the Risk Factors and minimum update frequency. See this article for more information: link to new article.
- In the Scope section, click on Add/Edit Scope to determine which products will be governed by this risk template.
In the pop-up window, the user can filter by the standard Product Origin, Country of Origin, Supplier, Type, or Ingredient Statement Contains filter, or the user can choose from the Additional Filters menu to further limit Scope by Product Attributes.
- Once the Scope parameters are set, click Apply Scope. The user can see the list of affected products below the filters.
- In the Additional Context text box, type any mitigation strategies and additional information that would be helpful to the AI agent in determining risk and preventive controls suggestions.
- Under Notifications, use the drop-down menus to select which roles to alert when an item gets moved to each level and how long those roles have to review the alert.
