The Operator Portal is designed to provide you, the Operator, with view-only access to critical shipping event data for FSMA 204 compliance. It includes tools to manage your locations and business information. The Operator Portal also features a comprehensive dashboard with educational resources to help you navigate FSMA 204 requirements.
Important Note for Community Owners: Please be aware that the creation of Operator Portals for your customers requires collaboration with our Support or Implementation teams. They will guide you through the necessary steps to set up and configure these portals appropriately. Please reach out to them directly to initiate this process.
Accessing the Operator Portal
- Navigate to the designated web address for the Operator Portal (provided by your administrator).
- Enter your unique username and password.
- Click the Log In To FoodLogiQ button to access the portal.
Understanding the Portal Interface
Upon successful login, you will be presented with the main dashboard and left navigation menu. The key sections of the navigation menu are:
- Dashboard: Your central hub for educational resources and quick links.
- Events: Provides a view-only log of relevant shipping activities for FSMA 204 compliance.
- Locations: Allows you to manage your business locations.
- Business Profile: Enables you to update and maintain your company details including GS1 prefix.
1. Dashboard Tab (Educational Resources):
The dashboard serves as your central information hub, providing valuable resources to help you understand and comply with FSMA 204 regulations.
- Welcome Video: A welcome guided video is always found at the top right corner. Click on the button to access the video with details to help familiarize you with your portal.
- Quick Link Tiles:
- Events from the last 30 days: A tile that takes you directly to the events page with a filter for the count of events from the last 30 days.
- Your Locations: A tile that takes you directly to the locations page where you can view and edit location information.
- Business Profile: A tile that takes you directly to the Business Profile page where you can view and update your company details including GS1 prefix.

2. Shipping Events Tab (View Only):
This section provides a table of shipping events shipped to your locations from all suppliers and distributors utilizing FoodLogiQ to manage their traceability events. You will be able to view essential information to meet FSMA 204 requirements.

Functionality:
- Filtering: You may be able to filter the shipping events by date range, location, product, or other relevant criteria to easily find specific information.
- Sorting: The ability to sort the data by different columns (e.g., date, location) to organize the information as needed.
- Search: A search bar may be available to quickly locate specific shipping events based on keywords like Shipment ID or product name.
- View Details: Clicking on a specific shipping event may provide a more detailed breakdown of the associated information.
- Exporting: Click on the export (down arrow) button to export all data to a .CSV file
Important Note: This section provides view-only access to shipping event data. You will not be able to edit or modify the information displayed here. For further event management, reach out to our sales team through Trustwell.com
3. Locations Tab:
This section allows you to manage the different physical locations associated with your business operations. Maintaining accurate location information is crucial for traceability.
- Functionality:
- View Existing Locations: A table displaying your currently registered locations, including name, address details.
- Add New Location: Click Add Location button to enter the details of a new location. This will include providing a location name, GLN, address (including street, city, state/province, zip/postal code, and country), phone number, location description, and contact details.
- Edit Existing Location: Select a location from the list and click the Add/Edit button from the Location Details page to modify its details. Ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Delete Location (Use with Caution): You have the option to delete a location. Exercise extreme caution when deleting locations. Ensure the location is no longer relevant and not associated with any past shipments before deleting.
4. Business Profile:
This section allows you to manage your core business details. Keeping this information current is important for compliance and communication. You can access this page from the Business Profile tile on the dashboard or by clicking on the cogwheel at the top right corner of any screen and clicking on Admin.
- Functionality:
- Business Details: Displays your currently registered business name, address, and other relevant contact information, click into any field to Edit the field.
- Do not remove the My GS1 Prefixes - this is what links your traceability events to your portal.
- Save Changes: After making any edits, click the Save button to apply the changes.
