Workspace Memory stores important information about your operation to help AI generate more relevant responses while creating documents and manuals.
Memories are specific to the active profile and are used by Suggest with AI and Generate Section.
What is Workspace Memory?
Workspace Memory captures facility-specific information that can be reused across future documents.
Memories can be:
- Automatically extracted from finalized documents.
- Created manually.
- Reviewed before they become active.
Note
Each profile maintains its own Workspace Memory.
Manage Workspace Memory
Open Settings > Memory to manage Workspace Memory for the active profile.
- Enable or disable Workspace Memory.
- Enable automatic memory extraction when documents are finalized.
- Require approval before newly extracted memories become active.
Review Memory Drafts
When automatic extraction is enabled, finalized documents can generate memory drafts. Only active memories are used during document creation.
Before a memory is used by AI, you can review it and choose to:
- Approve
- Edit
- Pin
- Archive
Add Memories Manually
You can also create Workspace Memories manually when you want Playbook to remember a specific fact about your operation.
How Workspace Memory is Used
Approved Workspace Memories help provide more relevant AI-generated content throughout Playbook.
They are used by:
- Suggest with AI when generating answers to individual questions.
- Generate Section when drafting document sections.
Note
Because Workspace Memory is profile-specific, information stored in one profile is not shared with other profiles.
