Internationalization of Form Entries

Note: This feature is available in Preview for the Q3 release. The details in this article may change before the official release.

FoodLogiQ allows the translation of forms into other languages to work with the language preference of the user in their profile.

To set a language preference other than English:

  1. Click on the round icon in the top right-hand corner and click on Language.

  2. Select the preferred language and click Save. FoodLogiQ works with the following languages: English, Spanish (Mexico and Spain), French, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), German, Arabic, Italian, Japanese and Chinese.

Note: FoodLogiQ will not automatically translate all fields. Form entries, for example, must be translated in the template first.

To set up these translations in your forms:

  1. Click on the cog wheel next to Form Entries.

  2. Open the template.
  3. Click Manage Translations.

  4. Add the languages the form will be available in using the drop-down menu.

  5. Add the language translations below by scrolling down and typing in the boxes for singular and plural.

  6. Click Save.

Below is a completed form that uses this template opened by a user with an English preference.

Below is the same form that uses this template opened by a user with French as the language of preference.

Note: The Action buttons and Category names are now in French.
