You might decide that you want to add a new type (product, document, etc.) and accompanying requirements (see this article for help with defining supplier requirements) after you have started or already completed your supplier onboarding. If you do so, you will need to notify any supplier that has already begun or completed their onboarding process. If this is the case, you have a few options.
For Current Suppliers with Onboarding Completed or Currently in Progress
- Create a two step Workflow Template (see this article for help with Workflows) and assign it to the community. Step one would be assigned to Suppliers. Step two would be assigned to someone in your community. This will ensure that once the supplier completes the new requirement, you will be notified. You can also set a due date for them to complete this new requirement. Once you've set up the template, initiate the workflow for all suppliers you want to complete the new requirement. This will create the Workflow in their account and send an email to them.
- If there is a document or assessment requirement, a message will be automatically sent to suppliers in FoodLogiQ asking them to complete the new requirement. See this article for help with Messaging Suppliers. In the message, a link to the page in Connect where the new requirement has been set will be included. For example, if you've added a new Document requirement, the message would link them to https://connect.foodlogiq.com/documents.
For Current Suppliers who add New Products
Create a new workflow template (see this article for help with Workflows). Make sure you assign the workflow to your community here: https://connect.foodlogiq.com/admin/workflow-assignments. This will automatically generate in the supplier account and send an email after complete the requirement. If you have other requirements, you can add these steps here as well. Again, you can add due dates and setup review steps to internal users to ensure you are notified as requirements are completed
For new Suppliers Not Yet in Connect
Edit your current onboarding workflows to include this new step. When suppliers accept invitations, you will either need to manually assign workflows, or (if it is automatically assigned) it will get created automatically.
