As a Community Owner, prior to inviting suppliers into FoodLogiQ you will need to assign them requirements based on the Supplier Groups you have configured.
To access the Supplier Groups page, first click on the cog wheel in the upper right corner (1). Then click on the Admin tab (2).
Click on Communities (3) and select the Business Requirements tab (4).
This page will show you any requirements that have been set up for your supplier groups.
Click into a row to edit requirements for a supplier group you’ve created previously. To create a new group and add requirements, click on the “Create Supplier Group”. Then select the Community and name the supplier group. Click “Create” to create the Supplier Group.
Select what requirements you want to set for this Supplier Group. To add a new requirement, click on Add/Edit Requirement within each section.
Requirements
Choose which document and assessment types you would like suppliers in this group to submit. All document and assessment requirements will generate to-dos for suppliers. Marking an item “Optional” will allow suppliers to clear the associated to-do from their dashboard.
There will likely be scenarios in which you want to require a document or assessment from a supplier based on the items they share with you. To learn more about assigning requirements in this way, visit Defining Document and Assessment Requirements on a Product and Location Level.
For this example, we’ve added document requirements and marked them required. Suppliers in this group will see to-dos for these two documents and will not be able to clear them unless they make the necessary submissions. Add documents by clicking the green plus; remove them by clicking the red x. Make sure to click Save at the bottom to save any changes made.
Available Data Types
Suppliers will not see to-dos generated for the Product, Location, Document, and Event Types added in this section. These types are available to suppliers, meaning that they can upload and share items of these types with you but they are not automatically required. In the example below, suppliers in this group will only be able to select from and share dairy or cheese products because these are the types we’ve set as available. You will also be able to upload these items on behalf of the supplier.
