The FoodLogiQ Connect Mobile application allows for event, incident, and audit submissions from a mobile device.
The application is designed to be hardware agnostic. It works on rugged Android devices, personal mobile phones, and Apple devices with add-on scanners. The application is designed to detect a built-in scanner for label scanning or to use the device's camera for reading barcodes. Log out timing can be specified per role within your company's FoodLogiQ account through User Management.
We officially support the following operating systems and strive to keep our support in line with best practices:
- iOS versions 11.0 or later
- Android 5.0 or later
The FoodLogiQ mobile solution takes advantage of the FoodLogiQ API and submits information when online using that standard information described within FoodLogiQ. The FoodLogiQ API enables interoperability between systems working on full-chain traceability. This API is based on bearer-token OAuth 2.0, REST and JSON.
The development of the mobile application aligns with the general development of FoodLogiQ. As new functionality is released within FoodLogiQ, relevant updates to the mobile application are made and pushed at the same time so that the mobile device stays in sync with functionality in the online Connect platform.
