When a Master Specification is assigned to an internal or external location, the Child Specification is now available for the location to review and take action within the Inbound Specification Requests tab. The child specifications for individual locations are mirrors of each other, they share the same history and status. Community owners can see how a location responds on the Location Assignments and Responses tab.
To get started:
1. The user assigned to the location will receive an email notification with a link prompting them to review the specification.
2. The assigned specification is available for locations under the tab “Inbound Specification Requests”. Once the location user clicks “Review Specification” on the email, they will be routed to the specification where they will review and take action.
3. There are two options the location user can take once they review the specification:
Acknowledge: Acknowledging the specification means the location is committing to adhering to the specification. By selecting “Acknowledge” the user will be prompted to complete an e-signature form. The e-signature information will be found at the bottom of the specification.
Reject: Rejecting the specification means the user is not committing to adhering to the specification and cannot produce the product as it is being specified.
4. Once the location has taken action, you will be notified and the status of the specification on the Location Assignments and Responses tab will be updated.
