Our AI can create a product in the system from a document or specification sheet to allow for time savings and ensure accuracy. It will pull any standard attribute present on the product type, but will not pull custom attributes that may be present.
Import a product using AI
- Click Add Product from one of the following places:
- My Products tab (Community Owner or Supplier)
- Products Shared with Me (Community Owner)
- Share or Create Product button (Supplier Dashboard)
- Products tab within the Supplier's Details Page (Community Owner)
- Ensure all required fields at the top of the form are filled in (varies by modal) and then choose Upload a Spec Sheet.
- Drag and drop or browse to add file (typically a specification sheet) and click Next. AI will scan the file to auto-populate standard attributes on the new product. Note: this process may take a moment.

AI will report how many attributes were matched. Those attributes will be highlighted in blue. Then, the user can manually add in any additional fields or ask the AI to search for a specific item that should be available in the spec sheet in the chat box.

- Once satisfied with the product, click Save & Share to finalize the new product.
Note: The file used to create the product will be automatically linked to the product, uploaded as a Document into FoodLogiQ, and can be opened from the product details page.
