As a Community Owner, you have requirements and expectations for your suppliers. Scorecards based on suppliers’ compliance and adherence to those expectations are key to multiple areas of your organization. Creating scorecard templates is integral to the scorecarding process and allows your suppliers’ scores to be generated automatically after supplier groups are assigned to a template.
Navigating the Admin Section for Scorecards
1. Within Admin, go to the Business tab and the Scorecard sub-tab
Here, you can select scorecard templates to modify or create a new scorecard.
Creating a New Scorecard
To create a new scorecard, click on . You can create multiple scorecard templates with configurable sections and rules within each section. You will have the flexibility to build a scorecard based on your expectations.
- Name your new Scorecard Template
- Set Scorecard sections and section weights. Scorecard templates come with 4 default sections: Safety, Quality, Sustainability and Sentiment; each weighed at 25% and totaling 100%. Below the Total, there is a "+ Add Section" button that will allow you to add a maximum of 7 sections. Remember to ensure that all sections you've added have a total weight of 100%
- Assign supplier groups to the Scorecard. Scorecards are assigned to Location/Product Groups, also known as Supplier Groups. You may add multiple Supplier Groups to a scorecard, and each Supplier Group can only be assigned to one scorecard.
- Add Rules to each section. By clicking "+ Add Rule" within each section, a pop up will open for you to add the desired rules. See the article Supplier Scorecard Rule Book for detailed explanations and examples of each rule.
- Set scores to rules. Once you have added at least one rule, the Scoring tab will activate for scoring to be set up. See the article, Scoring Parameters on a Scorecard Template, for more details.
